The Special Tiffany Party

The Famous jewelry retailer, Tiffany & Co., hosted a sparkling holiday party that officially opened the skating season at The Somerset House Ice Rink.
The evening featured the lighting of the Tiffany tree by renowned model and actress Lily Cole. Tree decorations were created by leading set designer Shona Heath, who designed a secret garden of peacock guards, with heart-shaped padlocks and sparkling Tiffany Keys as the keepers of Christmas dreams.
Guests also perused gift collections in the Tiffany Tuck Shop, designed as a walk-in Tiffany Blue Box. Jewelry such as the Tiffany Skate Kaleidoscope Key and charm bracelet in gleaming sterling silver captured the giving spirit, along with tempting Tiffany Blue cupcakes and candy canes.
The ten-week skating season extends from 17 November 2009 to 24 January 2010, with exclusive ticketed events provided by Tiffany & Co. On Saturdays through December, skaters may enjoy Breakfast with Tiffany¡¯s, with free entry for children and refreshments for all. Parents and children may also take advantage of Somerset House Skate School, led by Britain¡¯s renowned skating star Jane Torvill; and the Penguin Club, a miniature ice rink for toddlers. Other activities include DJ Nights, featuring the best of London¡¯s DJ¡¯s who will rock the rink on Friday and Saturday nights.
