Online Tiffany Stores is More Convenient

While I appreciated the attempt to make my shopping more pleasurable, I unfortunately found Tiffany's to be one of the most uncooperative retailers I have dealt with recently.
I had called Tiffany's in New York to see if I could place a special order for a picture frame for a graduation present. The personal shopper representative told me she would look into my request and call back. A week later I had not heard from her, so I went to the Manhasset store. After navigating through the pager system, I finally got a representative in the silver department. It took her about 20 minutes to decide that I had to talk to one of the bridal specialists about my request. After another discussion with this new person, she told me that she would look into my request and get back to me.
Another week went by and, once again, no one got back to me. I returned to Manhasset again and this time asked to speak with the manager. By that time I was ready to forgo my special request and just purchase a simple silver frame. Unfortunately, the manager told me that I would have to wait through the mobs to do so, so I just took all the necessary information and decided to order it from the toll-free number. When I tried to do that, however, Tiffany's was out of stock. The representative did not, however, even offer to back-order the frame.
Since Tiffany's was not going to offer any solution to my problem, I went to online tiffany stores.
